Orchid Update (An Octopus is Waiting)

Growing orchids requires patience. Time. Work. Strong light. High humidity. Regular periods of drying alternating with drenching rains.  Beading an orchid pillow is almost just like that. Almost. I get along without the humidity, rain and periods of dryness.

For those of you who have been following my progress with Orchid, I am pleased to say I'm in the home stretch. All the orchid blossoms have been beaded! I have the stems and leaves left.

Really in love with the orchid one, not because orchids are my favorite flowers but the colors are so perfectly combined.
