I'm Good at Other Things

The reason I don't know all I should about computers is because I don't want to know. Other things interest me more ... crafting, reading, cooking, shopping ... cleaning the house, ironing, working out, going to the dentist ... Okay, I'm exaggerating. But I pretty much like a lot of things more than having to learn new stuff about my computer and all that's associated with it. A couple of weeks ago I had to get a new MP3 player. I wanted one just like the old one because I knew how the old one worked. They don't make the old one anymore. I was forced out of my comfort zone to learn how to use the new one in order to download and listen to books while I bead. 

Most always I call on my son who has the patience of a saint when it comes to helping me with techie stuff. Recently he "helped" me with Facebook, again. Now The Beaded Pillow finally has its own page and you can LIKE it at http://www.facebook.com/#!/beadedpillow (much appreciated.) 

Below is the card my son gave me last Mother's Day. I keep it on the board in my craft room because it's so APT. By the way, the inside of the card reads, "Just so you know, mom, I'm always here for you." I love that kid.

It took me 1/2 hour to figure out how to scan this, get it to my computer, edit it and post it here.
