I had never been to a Quilter's Convention before and didn't really know what to expect. Well, expect the unexpected....what a treat! The quilts on display for judging were absolutely incredible works of art. I was walking around with my jaw dragging on the floor half the time. And it was so much more than quilts....there were long arms, machines, fabrics from the world over, beads, buttons, books, kits and gadgets. I purchased some beautiful panels and a lovely piece of fabric handmade in Africa. I'll post pictures later. Photos in this post are reserved for Around the Dock, the wonderful, huge quilt my mom let me help her create for the master bedroom at the lake house. (I made the pillow.)
Enjoy......

Karen, this turned out beautiful! I love the underside too. The pillow is wonderful too!! I can't wait to see the pictures of the quilt on the bed in the lake house!
I can see how much work went into this quilt. WOW! So many pieces!
Your pillow is a nice compliment to the quilt, and they will look awesome at the lake house.
I love the colors. It looks like a stained glass window. Really pretty.
